We’re trying to find another show to fill the void of, “Breaking Bad” but I’m starting to think that’s not gonna happen until, “Game of Thrones” come back. We watched all 64 episodes in a little over a month and I started mixing fantasy with reality and thought I was running with Heisenberg’s crew. I now realize how those crazy ladies yell at actors in supermarkets for cheating on this on-screen wife. We were in deep. OK enough about us. Week 7.
Apple Pie in a Crepe - These are like French/American dessert burritos… Of love. What a great idea, especially for me because I can wrap anything in any kind of cooked flour. Julia from, “Julia’s Album” has a love for crepes and photography. She probably has some of the best food photo’s I’ve seen through my interweb travels and I’m really jealous. Check her out and leave Julia a comment, she loves to interact with you.
Pumpkin Pie Crumb Bars - I love cookies and bars. I love pumpkin and spice. I love, “Foodtastic Mom” for showing me these! Thanks Jill. Check out her site and send her words of encouragement to motivate her to complete all her food goals. We actually share a lot of the same.
Crockpot Italian Beef Sandwich - Crockpot season in the east is upon us and this will definitely be Garnet and I’s first crock of the fall thanks to Jen from, “Juanita’s Cocina.” Go for this amazing sandwich and stay for the funny words and thousands of recipes. I have never seen so many in one place. Jen needs her own app. Click around and enjoy!
(Momofuku)Chocolate Chip Peach Cake - Christina Tosi and David Chang would be very happy with the way this cake came out. I’m sure the cake is just as delicious as Erika from, “The Pancake Princess” made it visually stimulating. Great flavors go into this dessert and great love goes into the website. Check out her work ladies and maybe she’ll introduce you to the, “Protein Prince.”
As usual make sure you click around, leave comments and bookmark all these recipes.
